I got the Denon AVR-5805 & all I can say is WOW what an AVR . . . Yes, Audyssey MultEQ XT really does work (and) works very well . . . it sounds very, very good . . . any seat . . . sounds like you are in the sweet spot . . . I think Denon & Audyssey have something special here.

A monumental improvement
I have never heard such a monumental improvement in the sound of an audio system as I heard with the Denon AVR-5805 with Audyssey's MultEQ engaged. Currently this is the most innovative and advanced room correction system in the industry. It is very promising (and) could set the next trend and evolution in home theater to come.

A huge leap forward
I consider this part of the Audyssey technology to be a huge leap forward for Home Theater. This technology considerably narrows the perceivable (seamless) sound quality difference between full range speakers and subwoofer/satellites.

It's worth every penny
Last week I purchased the Denon 4806, and to my surprise it was worth every penny. I never thought one component could make such a large difference, and could not believe what I was hearing. The Audyssey room EQ is so good that I only use that mode with anything I listen to . . . it will bring out the very best in your speakers . . . It's great!
