New version updates Denon and Marantz AVRs

Those of you with new model Denon and Marantz units can now have professional installers use MultEQ Pro 3.5 to provide the most sophisticated calibrations for your room. MultEQ Pro is special software that runs on Windows to perform the complicated calculations in a calibration. The extra computing power from the installer’s laptop means that specialized equipment (shown above) can be used and more measurements can be taken for the most precise calibrations possible.

In addition, the added power allows customization of Dynamic EQ and Dynamic Volume, customized target sound curves, and the ability to save and recall measurements—a huge timesaver. Now, with MultEQ XT32, MultEQ Pro 3.5 is more powerful than ever. One popular aspect, although one that has no impact on the music, is the before-and-after chart showing the improvement of each speaker with a proper calibration in place.

MultEQ Pro now includes the following AVRs: Denon AVR 3312CI, Denon AVR 2312, Denon AVR 5308 3D Edition, Denon AVP-A1HD 3D Edition, Denon AVC-A1HD 3D Edition and Marantz AVR-SR6006.
