Cell phone manufacturers are turning to Audyssey to get big performance out of little speakers. A cell phone by itself can send a conversation or a message to your mother this Christmas, but it’s EQ and Audyssey’s other technologies that will bring her voice to you… with natural bass and less background noise. So when she can’t be in the room, it can still sound like she is.
That kind of innovation is why luxury automobile manufactures such as Jaguar and Volvo are using our systems. Car audio, with its cushioned leather seats, curved windows and multiple speaker placements, is among the most challenging interiors to EQ. Our microphones placed throughout the cabin find out exactly where those distortions are happening. The resulting corrections from MultEQ unmuffle the vocals and send the deepest low frequencies to every passenger.
Even the newest televisions include our EQ and sound technologies. Companies used to boast high-definition screens but were only able to deliver low fidelity (lo-fi) due to the constraints of small speakers and hidden speaker placement. Audyssey helps Sanyo, Toshiba and Insignia overcome the design limitations of flat screen televisions to bring richer audio into your home. And our EQ works to keep the acoustics in balance and preserve the clarity of voices, even in whispers or low volumes, and automatically adjust for the wide acoustics of music videos or live concerts.
And MultEQ with your home theater system actually analyzes your living space and creates a custom solution to perfect your audio. It’s the same Audyssey technology IMAX uses in their theaters.

Except maybe their Jaguars. But only because the drum sets wouldn’t fit.
