Give the Gift of Audyssey Sound
The holiday season is upon us and there is nothing better than giving your friends or family members a gift with audio perfected by Audyssey. Now, before you think an Audyssey related gift might be too expensive, know that our first idea costs you nothing at all. The rest vary in price, but should help with your holiday planning nonetheless. Let’s take a look.

1. A recalibration of your family AVR
If anyone in your family owns an AVR from Denon, Onkyo, Integra, Marantz or NAD, chances are good it uses Audyssey MultEQ for the speaker set-up—which is a complete calibration and equalization process. Chances are also pretty good it is time for a new calibration. When would you recalibrate an AVR? Whenever you have added furniture, changed the drapes, moved the speakers, added new artwork on the wall or in any way have changed the layout of the room. You will need the Audyssey microphone that came with the AVR and a quiet 15 minutes or so. The newly calibrated room will sound brand-new all over again. For tips, just consult our How to MultEQ page.

2. A trip to the IMAX Theatre
A step up from a free gift, but an excellent value regardless, would be tickets to a movie at an IMAX Theatre. If you like to deliver gifts early, the betting money goes to the December 16 opening of Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol: The IMAX Experience. It has been specially remastered to take full advantage of the bigger screen and the premium sound of IMAX Theatres. Even the trailers can cause sensations of vertigo. Oh yea, the sound in IMAX Theatres has been perfected by Audyssey MultEQ.

3. Audyssey LES Media Speakers for the college kid
Do you have a college student home for the holidays? Hopefully, he or she has worked hard, learned much and earned a nice reward (in addition to the constant requests for money) and nothing would be better for the dorm room than a pair of Audyssey Lower East Side Media Speakers. They look cool, sound great and will work with any playback device your student owns. Keep an eye out for our Cyber Monday Special to make it an even sweeter deal.

4. Audyssey South of Market Audio Dock for the iPhone lover
Perhaps a loved one just bought the new iPhone 4S, is enjoying Siri, the new speed and having all of their music accessible from the Cloud. They need a South of Market Audio Dock. It is the only audio dock specifically designed for iPhone users. Of course it charges your phone when docked and makes your music sound great, but those are just the starting points. You can pair your phone using Bluetooth technology, so you can make hands-free phone calls and stream your music wirelessly. You can connect the SoMa to your computer so when you dock your phone, it will automatically sync and backup all of your newly downloaded apps. It looks great and takes up very little space. Don’t miss the Cyber Monday Special on this one either!

5. A flat-screen TV – that actually sounds good!
Do you still have an old, space-stealing TV in your house? Take back a chunk of your living room with a new, flat-screen TV. Audyssey technology makes Toshiba, Sanyo and Insignia sound great despite the small speakers. Making sure you enjoy not only the extra room and great picture but also the great sound.

6. A new ride – get your home theater sound to go
Those of you for whom the New Year means new wheels should treat yourself to the superior audio offered by manufacturers such as Volvo, Land Rover and Jaguar. All of these companies offer vehicles tuned with Audyssey MultEQ. If you must purchase a car from a different manufacturer, you can still get great Audyssey sound by installing an Alpine system. More details on all of these vehicles and accessories can be found here.
We hope this list gives a few great ideas for the holidays. Please drink responsibly, enjoy food in moderation, indulge yourself in the best sound possible and have a great holiday season.
