Audyssey Presents Rock Make Street Festival 2011
If you are in San Francisco next weekend we invite you to join Audyssey as we present the Fourth Annual Rock Make Street Festival along with The Bay Bridged music blog. We will be at the corner of Treat Ave and 18th St between noon and 7 p.m. on Sep. 17 along with tons of bands, beer, arts and crafts, and the best food trucks around.
Bands will be on two stages, one of which is our own Audyssey Stage. Our stage features six bands Saturday afternoon: SF Rock Project, Cannons & Clouds, Chucha Santa Maria Y Usted, Tartufi, Bare Wires and Battlehooch.
Other bands include: Phantom Kicks, Birds and Batteries, Mist Giant, and Vons de Qua. If you enjoy music, free music, there really is no better place to be. And don’t forget all of the arts and crafts, food trucks and kids’ rock bands.
Audyssey will also be in the beer and wine garden (naturally), to give away some free beer and to demo Audyssey Audio Docks. To get your beer, you need only “like” us on Facebook at the event. And while you enjoy your beverage, charge up your iPhone on the docks and give them a tryout, too.
Those of you lucky enough to visit Rock Make will have a chance to win one of two South of Market Audio Docks. YES, FREE AUDIO DOCKS! The first Audio Dock giveaway is a simple drawing—fill out your information and we will pick a lucky winner.
The second Audio Dock giveaway will be an Instagram and Twitter contest. Send a photo you take at Rock Make via Instagram or Twitter using the #rockmake hashtag and our favorite photo at the end of the day will be awarded an Audyssey Audio Dock.
Co-presenter, The Bay Bridged will be curating a mixtape that will be aired on KQED and playing in the beer garden. The same tape will be available as a free download on our Facebook page shortly thereafter. It’s a great way to really enjoy some of the latest music from the San Francisco scene.
