Los Angeles – (Marketwire – October 11, 2011) – Audyssey, a global leader in
audio technology for the home, automotive, mobile and theater markets, today announced they will join the Bay Bridged in presenting this year’s Ferris Wheel Confessions at San Francisco’s Treasure Island Music Festival this Oct. 15 & 16.
The Treasure Island Music Festival will have more than 26 bands playing throughout the weekend, the Treasure Chest Vendor Village, roaming performers, art installations, Camp D.I.Y and, the beacon of the event, the 60-foot Ferris Wheel. The festival’s activities all harken back to Treasure Island’s very first use – hosting the 1938 World’s Fair.
Seven of the bands performing have been featured on Audyssey’s Neighborhood blog, including Buraka Som Sistema, St. Vincent, Yacht and Geographer. Bookmark the spot and see some of the “confessions” from this year’s event. Last year, free rides were granted in exchange for answering a few questions such as, “Have you ever won over someone’s heart with a mixed tape” or “If you could, which band would you join at Treasure Island.” Not terribly challenging, but often the answers are not only funny, but also insightful.
Audyssey will be there and we look forward to enjoying some of our favorite bands, hearing new music, taking in the craziness and, of course, hearing all of you confessions.
